My husband went to Emerald Corner on Friday April 26th and this is what he had to say:
After going to Emerald corner in Clifton for many years I felt humiliated disrespected next to my family by this nasty dirty Worthless sack of shit... I put my money in the jukebox at 6:30 PM to play A RAP song and the place was pretty empty After putting the dollar I heard the song cut off... I returned to put another dollar in and cut off again. This jerk off waited for me to sit at the bar and told me I couldn't play any rap Music until 10 o'clock. So I told him I've never heard such a thing and there's no signs in the facility that says that,So I told him return back the two dollars and I'll play another Type of music he refused to give me back the money, but the strange thing was that when I got there at 5:30 PM they were playing rap music but when this jerk off worthless sack of shit dirty dusty crusty motherfucker clocked in he became the jerk off of the month, I called this racist and he's a prejudiced motherfucker prior to the pass so congratulations jerk off of the month I will never go there again.#emeraldcornercliftonnj

I grew up in Delawanna lived right on Delawanna Avenue. Use to go to this place with my Father when It was Rivelli's Went here a couple of months ago With my 18-year-old son ,sat down at a table on a Wednesday night and had the prime rib special. Pretty good for the price. Went there last night (the place was empty)with my now 19-year-old son and my 21-year-old daughter and the server boy asked us for ID. I said, we're just here to eat not to drink. He says (with a real douche bag of an attitude) you're not allowed to bring underage kids in here because it's a bar. (like I don't know what a bar looks like) Now, I know for a fact, I can drive up the street to Rutt's hut, sit down with my kids and have dinner. They serve alcohol just like this place does in the dining room. From reading the other Reviews,I don't know whether that's true or not. Either way I walked out figuring they don't need my money. I'll never go back.
I will say, I still have friends that live in the neighborhood and they warned me about someone there with a world class asshole style of treating customers. What a miserable f**k -

Emerald's corner has really good food and drinks for a small dive bar in Clifton . The only reason why this review gets two stars is because of a waiter on their staff that was inappropriately rude to our group of friends. He made comments not once but three times, this caused us to not order any more food from the establishment.
